Federico, born in Camposampiero, Italy, approached Music when he was still a kid, playing many instruments, then he soon decided to focus on guitar and bass guitar.
When he was just 17, after visiting a local luthier for repairing his vintage Fender Strat, he instantly fell in love with the profession and from that day his life mission has been to become a master in building and repairing the finest musical instruments.
LUTHIER BACKGROUND
• 2006-2010 Civic school of Luthiery in Milan.
• 2008 Overseas Internship in the USA at Steve Spodaryk, Bill tippin, Robert Benedetto workshops, to master his knowledge on steel strings and archtop guitars.
• 2010 Internship at Borghino Guitars with Master Luthier Mirko Borghino.
• Luthiery seminars with Tiziano rizzi, Enrico Bottelli, Jacaranda guitars, Kevin Ryan, Richard Hoover (Santa Cruz guitars).
MUSICIAN BACKGROUND
• 2002-2006 Modern Music school Lizard in Padova.
• 2011-2016 Degree in Jazz Guitar at conservatorio Pollini in Padova, Italy.
• Guitar seminars with Scott Henderson, Robben Ford, Greg Howe, Davide Mastrangelo, Bob Brozman, Roberto Dalla Vecchia, Chris Cheek, John Hollenbeck.

Filippo, born in Camposampiero, Italy, started his journey as a musician, playing different instruments and focusing later on Bass Guitar at the age of 15.
After studying electric bass at the modern music academy Lizard in Padova with Federico from 2002 to 2005, he plays music with different bands in Padova.
In 2008 he joined a notorious multinational company in northern Italy and in 2012 accepted a job from the same company at an overseas branch.
from 2012 to 2021 he gained experience in different fields, working as After Sales manager, Product manager, R&D manager and Business Development manager for different countries of southeast Asia and Oceania.
In 2021 he decided to return to Italy to merge his passion for music, engineering and manufacturing.
Being Filippo and Federico very good friends, they decided to found Garda Guitars, a brand which vision is to create musical instruments that unite passion, knowledge and technical innovation and at the same time being respectful to luthiery tradition and kind to the environment.
